As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers, providing product knowledge, being a valued team member, and driving sales in our fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Listen to customers’ needs and provide expert advice on landscaping supplies, outdoor furniture, and other related products.
- Offer solutions and recommendations based on customer requirements.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach to enhance overall shopping experience.
- Follow up with customers after their purchase to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
Product and Industry Knowledge:
- Stay updated on the latest trends, features, and benefits of landscaping and outdoor living products.
- Provide accurate information about product specifications, usage/installation, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive product knowledge within the store.
Business Productivity:
- Actively engage in upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities.
- Achieve sales targets by effectively communicating product value and benefits.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and visually appealing store layout.
- Participate in creating attractive product displays to showcase featured items.

Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve overall company goals.

Inventory Management:

- Assist with regular inventory counts and stock rotation.
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience, preferably in the landscape industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service background.
- Knowledge of landscaping and outdoor living products.
- Ability to work extended hours, and Saturdays (during peak season).
Plus Qualifications:
· CDL
· Machinery operating experience (loader)
